Four Winds presents the Penny Quartet, four fabulous young string players from the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM), 3pm on Easter Friday 3rd April. The program of divine string quartet music will also include a selection of classical favourites from our very own Bega Chamber Orchestra, directed by Amy Turnbull.
A must hear concert in the indoor Windsong Pavilion, with just 160 seats available, book online now at www.fourwinds.com.au - Adults $20; Concession (Pensioner and Students) $10; Children under 16 accompanied by a parent can enter free. Gates open from 2pm on the Four Winds site, just 10kms south of Bermagui on the Tathra to Bermagui Road. Plenty of parking on site and refreshments available for purchase at interval.
Four Winds is committed to the professional development of talented, upcoming young musicians who are making their way into the music business. In collaboration with the Australian National Academy of Music, Four Winds has developed an ongoing program of residencies that give opportunities for energetic, highly skilled, emerging professionals to rehearse, teach, deliver workshops and perform in our region. This event marks the third collaboration between Four Winds and ANAM.
