The Novellas & 'HANT´A the Book Crusher'

The Novellas & 'HANT´A the Book Crusher'

Great Southern Nights in association with Four Winds present The Novellas & 'HANT´A the Book Crusher'.

The Novellas hail from the Bega Valley, a fertile backdrop in which to ferment their bittersweet songs inspired by contemporary works of fiction from Australia and beyond. Sparse & atmospheric, The Novellas paint in song the evocations of the printed word and celebrate the emotional power of storytelling. Joining the Novellas in the stage show 'HANT´A the Book Crusher' is actor Patrick Dickson in the role of HANT´A, a character who springs forth from the book "Too Loud a Solitude" by Czech author Bohumil Hrabal. He will infuse your spirit with his love of books and delight with tales from a bittersweet life.
